While we were still in my favorite little town, back in June still, we took another fabulous drive - and saw some incredible flower displays.
First, a roadside stop for Zou to play and swim.
She knows how to have a good time!
And so do other folks here, apparently.
A pretty flower. Planted, but still pretty!
Up on our dirt road now, the views get better and better.
And that dash of bluish-purple at the bottom gives a hint of what's to come.
A lupine extravaganza!
Our next stop was even more jaw-dropping!
Nice backdrop, stunning foreground. Hmm, just wishing I could be here for a nice sunrise or sunset with some pink color and clouds...
A little lighter lavender...
A lot lighter - in fact, these ones are white.
